Breathwork is vital to well-being and health because it can help decrease stress, reduce anxiety, improve lung function, increase energy, enhance mental clarity, and so much more. It can also help regulate the body's autonomic nervous system, which is responsible for controlling our heart rate, blood pressure, and digestion. By practicing breathwork, we learn to take deep breaths, which increase the amount of oxygen in our blood and trigger the release of endorphins, promoting relaxation. Additionally, some studies have shown that certain breathwork techniques can help improve immune system function and decrease inflammation in the body. Functional Breathing trains your body to develop a breathing pattern that is easy to access and facilitates your body’s innate intelligence to self-heal. This course focuses on converging the science and practicality of functional breathing and how to incorporate breathwork into our daily routine that leads to improved physical, mental, and emotional health.
The course is facilitated by Rita Savoia, Certified Nutritionist, Holistic Wellness Coach, Ashtanga Yoga Instructor, Meditation and Functional Breathing Coach.

Had a great session. Way harder than I expected. Surprising how difficult it can be to breath properly but something we should all be doing more. Relearning to use you diaphragm instead of you chest makes a huge difference.
